Information about large-scale corruption in the work of the capital’s local governments and utilities was made public by the State Bureau of Investigation. Systemic corruption of officials of the Kiev City State Administration damages the capital for a total of about 10 billion hryvnia per year.
This was reported by the press service GBR.
“Analysis of the information available in the bureau indicates that the management and officials of the structures of the Kyiv City State Administration, using the power and the powers granted to them, have established stable corruption schemes for the theft of the budget of the city of Kiev, which today amounts to about 60 billion hryvnias. According to preliminary estimates, systemic corruption of officials of the Kyiv City State Administration is annually can cause damage to the territorial community of Kiev for a total amount of about UAH 10 billion, ” – approved by the Bureau.
They clarify that the embezzlement is associated with the work of 128 utilities, to which money is distributed uncontrollably and ineffectively.
