Asked if there was any news about the seven-seater Model Y, Musk said production would begin next month. The first pieces should then reach customers during December. At that time, Tesla is likely to maximize deliveries again so that it can close the last quarter of the year with a high number of delivered vehicles.
The mystery, however, remains how Tesla’s technicians will cope with the third row of seats. However, due to the sloping rear of the Model Y, they will probably place the seats against the direction of travel and use the recess in the luggage compartment as legroom.

Several people, including car expert Sandy Munro, have already shown on YouTube that such a concept could actually work. In his video, he shows that getting on and off would not have to be too complicated even for older people. However, it is clear from his video that this solution would offer a relatively limited space above his head. In addition, the issue of security also arises.
Despite many questions about technology, we already know the price. The seven-seater interior is already displayed on the official website of the US Tesla dealership for an additional fee of $ 3,000 (approx. CZK 69,700), but it cannot be ordered yet. On the web, there is still talk of availability until 2021.
