Additional case records Corona daily at India it hasn’t stopped yet. Now, more than 95 cases Corona was recorded in the last 24 hours in the subcontinent.
As reported Reuters and Associated Press, Thursday (9/10/2020), the Indian Ministry of Health in its latest report announced 95,735 cases of Corona in the last 24 hours. As a result, that figure shifted the previous record for additional high daily cases, which India reported on Monday (7/9) with 90,802 cases of Corona in a day.
With a surge, a total of 4,465,863 Corona cases have now been confirmed in India. This country recorded the second highest total of Corona cases in the world, after the United States (US) with more than 6.3 million cases.
Records were not only set for additional daily cases, but also for additional deaths within a day. India’s Ministry of Health reported 1,172 deaths from Corona in the past 24 hours. This figure is in addition to the highest daily death toll in India over the past month.
So far, the total deaths due to Corona in India have reached 75,062 people. With this figure, India is listed as the third country with the most total deaths in the world after the US with more than 190 thousand deaths and Brazil with more than 128 thousand deaths.
