The Public Vaccination Monitor this Thursday updated the data on the vaccination plan against Covid-19. With 165,596 applications in the last 24 hours, the country is today in 10,549,521 immunizations against Covid-19.
The breakdown of the Public Vaccination Monitor shows that 8,397,337 people received the first dose of any of the available antidotes while 2,152,184 people already received both supplements. The total of drugs distributed throughout the country is 12,309,351.
For his part, the provincial senator from Corrientes Martin Barrionuevo charted the advance in vaccination in the country. He highlighted that Argentina has an immunization percentage of 18.81 percent with the first dose and compared it with the total of North America and Europe, which accumulate 33.83 percent and 27.74 percent respectively.
The legislator highlighted on Twitter the scope of vaccination in the country, with 78 percent of inoculated among those over 80, and in the range between 60 and 69 years; and 86.6 percent among those aged 70 to 79 years.
In addition, he stressed that the level of infections makes vaccination insufficient if it is not complemented with care, in a clear call to respect the restrictions imposed last night and that will govern for nine days from early Saturday.
