The program “Kultūrdobe” returns to the viewers; in the first show – fashion artist David / Article

The popular program “Kultūrdobe” created by the editorial board of cultural programs will continue on Latvian Television this summer as well. Journalist Henrieta Verhoustinska will visit cultural personalities – garden lovers – to talk about both the activities in the garden and their creative intentions.

Henrieta Verhoustinska, the host of the program, admits: “The garden is a human mirror. It is very interesting to watch the interactions, to look for how the artist’s works have been influenced by his garden and vice versa – how the environment around him reflects a person’s occupation. “Kultūrdobe” is a very special project. At the start of the first season, my knowledge of gardening was not even up alphabet level. But meeting the wonderful participants of the first season, their passionate stories allowed me to learn a lot.

Well, I can say that I already know this in the field of gardening, and at the beginning of the second season, I finally have my own bed with a couple of fruit trees, berry bushes and peonies. ”

Also in the new season, Henrieta Verhoustinska will visit cultural figures and representatives of the art world, allowing the audience not only to look at the gardens, but also to get to know them better in cordial conversations.

In the first show we will see a visit to fashion artist David Andreev and his wife Antras; The conversation took place in mid – May, when apples were still blooming in the spring. David Andreev’s costumes, both in the theater and at fashion shows, have always delighted with perfect stitching and a bold range of colors. The same can be said about his dream garden in Dāviņi parish – the landscape is made up of conifers and deciduous trees saved from death, the pond is picturesquely alternated with lettuce leaves, flower beds in a large greenhouse are cozy. Ieva slips over the shore of Iecava, where Dāvids Andrejevs and his wife Antras drink morning coffee.

The author and director of the program idea is Henrieta Verhoustinska, the director is Gunta Gaidamaviča, the producer is Artis Dobrovoļskis.

“Kultūrdobe” will be available on Saturdays from June 26 at 8.45 pm on LTV1 and REPLAY.lv, while the portal LSM.lv will have a wide range of additional content.
