Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Ministry of Health has revealed the symptoms that appear on the person infected with the seasonal flu, which are chills and sweating, high temperature of over 38 degrees, body aches, headache, sore throat, persistent cough, dryness and a runny nose.
The ministry explained in an infographic posted on its account on the Live Healthy platform that this disease causes a number of complications, the most notable of which are pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infections, blood poisoning and death.
The Ministry urged everyone to adhere to wear a mask, which is one of the most important ways to prevent disease, in addition to avoiding directly touching the eyes or mouth, the need to obtain the vaccine, and ensure the cleanliness of the place, as well as washing your hands well and using tissues when sneezing and coughing.
The Ministry of Health had launched an awareness campaign to vaccinate against seasonal flu with the slogan “The Moment You Don’t Wish”, aimed at the groups most affected by it, such as the elderly, people with chronic diseases, people with immunodeficiency, pregnant women, health professionals and members of the community in general, stressing that vaccination is safe and has no significant side effects and its effectiveness has been proven for many years in all countries of the world.
