The Ministry of Health and Population has revealed the target groups to get the seasonal flu vaccine, as follows:
Children during the first five years of life.
Seniors over the age of 65.
People with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart, chest, liver and kidney disease.
Those with weak immunity due to certain diseases or drugs that stabilize the immune system and those who have had their spleen removed or organ transplants, such as cochlea.
Pregnant women, especially in the second and third trimesters and up to two weeks after delivery.
Healthcare workers.
The seasonal flu vaccine is given with any of the other vaccines at the same time as or at any time before or after any other vaccine, as no specific intervals are required between the seasonal flu vaccine and any other vaccine.
