Dubai, September 26 / WAM / The training course for resident doctors was launched today in Dubai, which precedes the opening of the 20th Congress of the Asian Urology Society, which Dubai is hosting for the first time in the region and the Middle East during the period from September 28 of this year until the first of next October, in conjunction with the conference. Dr. Yasser Farhat, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Emirates Urological Association, said that the training course for resident doctors focused on developing clinical skills and training on the latest technologies and modern devices in all subspecialties in kidney diseases and urology surgeries.
For his part, Dr. Abdul Qader Al Zarouni, President of the Emirates Urological Society and Chairman of the Conference, stressed the importance of the Asian Conference, which Dubai will host for the first time in the region and the Middle East, as it brings together the largest number of international urologists, pointing out that the conference includes many activities and events in all specialties. He added that the European Urology Association will organize during the conference a program to train medical personnel in terms of leadership and management of medical affairs, with the aim of qualifying medical personnel and implementing a quality work strategy in the medical system. He expected approximately 2,500 doctors representing 75 countries from around the world to attend this event.
In turn, Dr. Yasser Al Saeedi, Vice President of the Emirates Urology Society, Consultant and Head of the Urology Department at Dubai Hospital, drew attention to the exhibition accompanying the conference, in which 65 international companies participate to display their latest products of modern devices related to urological surgery. He stressed that Dubai Medical Conferences have become the best place for international companies to present… Its latest products are in view of the annual growth witnessed by the healthcare sector in the countries of the region, ranging between 10 to 15 percent.
