The Last of Us Part 2 is once again the UK’s best-selling game of the week

The Last of Us Parte II is the best-selling game in the UK and physical format for the second week in a row. The effect of the sequel has been noticed in the interest by the saga, which also places The Last of Us: Remastered -the remastering of the original PS3- among the ten most successful titles of the week. The decline in this second week is 80%, typical of large releases – and this became Sony’s best console debut-; the original fell 78% after its release. There is no data on its performance in digital sales, very important in the current market, but it is known that the Naughty Dog game sold more than 4 million in the first days.

The sales of the last days stand out for the entry of several Nintendo 3DS games for an offer from the Argos network. This makes for example Bravely Second: End Layer It now sells three times as many physical copies as it did in its 2016 launch, nearly doubling global sales in the country in a matter of a week. There are more examples, case of Metroid: Samus Returns coming in at number 28 or Little Battlers Experience at 33.

As for news, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated enter third place. It is a review of the children’s game released in 2003 for PS2, GameCube and the first Xbox. In position number 12 we find Assetto Corsa Competizione, console version -Xbox One, PS4- of the car simulator of Kunos Simulazioni.
