The family of a 16-year-old girl who died in September after allegedly being followed by the Iranian police was forced by the government to lie about her death. This is what a family acquaintance tells the BBC.

Nika Shakarami went missing in Tehran on September 20 after she may have taken part in a protest over the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.
