Monday 1is and Tuesday, February 2, impressive snowfall fell in the northeastern United States, especially in New York, freezing the city, already slowed down by Covid-19, in a white and icy atmosphere.

Last night, it was a real storm that buried the vehicles, houses and roads of the Big Apple. The largest since that of January 2016, which saw nearly 70 cm fall in the heart of Central Park.

Between sledges, snow battles and galleys caused by falling snowflakes, here is a selection of images of this rare New York setting, almost at a standstill.
