The top version of the electric SUV with the legendary name has arrived in the Czech Republic. “Gétéčko” boasts great capabilities, which it will offer for less than two million crowns.

The main advantage Mach-E electric Mustang GT are mainly its parameters. The pair of electric motors delivers 358 kW (487 hp) and 860 newton meters of torque. By the way, it is the highest twist Ford has ever offered on a production car sold in Europe. The car is on top in 3.7 seconds and with a battery with a capacity of 88 kWh it can cover up to 500 kilometers on a single charge. From 10 to 80%, you charge the battery with an output of 150 kW in 45 minutes, in ten minutes the range can increase by ninety-nine kilometers.
The novelty will be presented to the public at the ongoing Festival of Speed in Goodwood, where they will take part in a hill climb over the weekend. But you don’t have to travel to the British Isles to learn the most important thing about the electric “ghetto”, namely the Czech price. The domestic representation of the carmaker has already revealed this to us today, the price list of the car starts at CZK 1,899,900 and will appear on sale at the beginning of 2022.

The standard equipment includes an adaptive chassis (tuned especially for European customers), a Brembo sports brake system or tires fitted with 20 “alloy wheels and developed specifically for the model. “We are talking about a refined, luxuriously equipped five-seater SUV with accelerated supersport. When I started as an automotive designer thirty years ago, we could only dream of such a combination of features. ” said Geert van Noyen, Head of Driving at Ford of Europe.

As we have already said, the Mustang Mach-E GT gets two electric motors. The rear oil-cooled synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets is brand new and reaches maximum torque in half a second. The front engine then independently drives the front wheels for the best possible acceleration and cornering characteristics.

Along with the gradual switching of driving modes from Whisper through Active to Untamed, the share of driving force transmitted to the rear wheels increases. The specifics of the top model is the Untamed Plus mode, which delivers even sharper steering and accelerator response, a stiffer chassis, simulated downshifting and a stronger sound in the interior. In addition, the mode is characterized by the calibration of the drive train suitable for driving on the racing circuit, to which the sensitivity of stabilization is adapted.
Inside the driver, following the example of other “mosses”, a huge 15.5-inch center screen with the latest generation of the SYNC communication system awaits. Ford Performance sports seats are upholstered in a soft leather look, which also appears on the steering wheel. The comfort equipment is further expanded by the B&O audio system with ten speakers or contactless control of the fifth door hiding the 402-liter luggage compartment. On request, the car can be equipped with a panoramic roof, for example.
The army of security and assistance systems was not forgotten either. On board we find an intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, lane departure assistant, blind spot monitoring, active parking assistant or pre-collision assistant with automatic braking function.
