JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The father of the stabber Syekh Ali Jaber, M Rudi (46) raised his voice regarding the case that happened to his son. He said, his son had indeed suffered from mental disorders since 2017.
Due to the mental disorder experienced by Alfin, he was hospitalized in a mental hospital.
“Yes, mentally, it’s just a disturbance,” said Rudi, at the Bandar Lampung Police Headquarters, Monday (9/14/2020).
For 7 days Alfin underwent treatment at RSJ Lampung before finally being allowed to do outpatient care.
Related to the stabbing incident Syekh Ali Jaber, Rudi believes that mental disorders suffered by his children have returned.
“Yes, maybe (recurrent disease),” said Rudi.
Then, the perpetrator’s uncle, Rangga (28) also confirmed that Alfin had a mental disorder. The oddity was already shown when Alfin worked as a guard at a kiosk to refill drinking water in Rawajitu, Tulangbawang.
