The former commissioner of the National Police Jose Manuel Villarejo, detained on November 3, 2017, and the brothers Juan and Fernando MuñozThey must go to trial the next day October 13 for an alleged crime of extortion, discovery and revelation of secrets.
They all came up with a methodical plan to extort al former partner’s lawyer of the Muñoz. The victim was the Judge Francisco Javier de Urquía. The media outlet La Vanguardia has managed to access some of the recordings that appear in the judicial summary, for which it has been revealed what events happened to extort the judge.
The Muñoz brothers wanted more sexual material to extort money
The Muñoz brothers had the objective of making their former partnereven through your attorney if necessary, so they decided to contact Villarejo. He offered them a lawyer sex video, although they wanted more material to extort money from him and decided to follow up on him.
As announced in the judicial summary, the former commissioner continued to search weak points to achieve a perfect extortion of the judge, such as obtaining a second compromised video. In exchange, Villarejo asked the Muñoz brothers for some 200.000 euros.
Plan frustrated: the police arrest Villarejo
Villarejo hired an agency detectives to follow the lawyer and former partner of the Muñoz brothers, put a camera in a bathroom of a cocktail bar in Marbella and achieved what they were looking for: two compromising videos that it was only necessary to send them the victims.
That moment never happened, because Villarejo was arrested ante la accusation to lead a criminal organization. With him arrested, the police also kept all the material that the ex-commissioner was carefully keeping in his home.
The next to suffer the same consequences were the Muñoz brothers, because the agents analyzed all the material and they were in the point of view. Because of this, they were arrested on Jul 31, 2018. Next week they will be, therefore, in the dock, despite the fact that they have acknowledged the facts in front of the prosecution.
