The government allocates Rp 2.4 trillion for the procurement of 240 thousand laptops for students. Here are the specifications.
detikINET confirmed the laptop program for this school to the Karo of Planning Kemendikbudristek, M Samsuri. Samsuri said the government wanted this laptop to support the Merdeka Learning program for quality and equitable education in Indonesia.
“The specifications have been regulated as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 5 of 2021 concerning Operational Instructions for the Special Physical Allocation Fund for Education for the 2021 Fiscal Year,” said Samsuri to detikINET, Thursday (29/7/2021).
Samsuri said that what is listed in Attachment X to Permendikbud No 5/2021 is the minimum specification. In the document received by detikINET from the Ministry of Education and Culture, it does contain clear specifications of the program laptops for students.

Previously, Kemendikbudristek explained that the laptop unit that Nadiem meant was a communication information technology (ICT) package. This package is not only a laptop, but also includes supporting devices including routers, connectors, printers and scanners.
The procurement of ICT equipment is taken from domestic vendors who meet the TKDN requirements. The number of units received by each school will be different depending on the proposal from elementary to high school level. The Rp 2.4 trillion budget from the center will be transferred to the regions, then the regional government will spend on necessities laptop pack for the region from vendors in a transparent and accountable manner through e-catalog.
