The lights were turned off inside the entertainment bar, which was struck by a blunt machine. In the video, one policeman explained, “After checking the police on CCTV, it seems that the lights were turned off to avoid the crackdown.” There was a male employee wearing a mask on the bar table in the nightlife bar that was off. Three women were also identified in the room. On that day, the Suseo Police Station caught a total of 41 people, including business owners, employees, and customers, at the entertainment bar and charged them with violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act.

Another entertainment bar that was secretly opened to avoid the crackdown and violated the ban on gatherings was also discovered.
On the same day, around 10 pm, a secret business report was filed at an entertainment bar in Samseong-dong, Seoul, and the police cracked down. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station checked the emergency escape route and arrested 20 people after confrontation between the owner and the customer. Also, at 9 o’clock that night, 11 people, including business owners and customers, were arrested at an entertainment bar in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul. Some found the police and were caught by the police while trying to escape through the back door.

According to the National Police Agency on the 19th, 348 people were caught as a result of cracking down on violations of the Infectious Disease Prevention Act in entertainment facilities such as clubs and pubs and PC cafes on the 4th to 17th. It was investigated that they were engaged in illegal business by accepting only reserved guests to avoid police crackdowns. A police official said, “We plan to continue cracking down on violations of the Infectious Disease Prevention Act in entertainment facilities.”
