The Dangers of Stress and Anxiety in Your Twenties and Thirties: Expert Warns of Impact on Heart Health in Old Age

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Fawaz Al-Anazi, a specialist in cardiology and internal medicine, revealed in a video clip the harms of exposure to stress, tension and anxiety in the twenties and thirties and their impact on people in old age.

Al-Enezi said in the video: Clogged arteries often result from the accumulation of harmful blood cholesterol in the arteries of the human body. In most cases, this accumulation begins in the ages of the twenties and thirties and develops until the artery completely closes, leading to the occurrence of heart and brain clots.

He added: This is why psychological stress in the twenties and thirties leads to strokes and heart attacks in adulthood.

He continued: Stress, thinking, worry, and psychological frustration are all factors that increase heart function and increase blood pressure. Anxiety and stress also lead to an imbalance in blood fats, lack of sleep, and high blood sugar.

He continued: A person may endure physical work, but psychological work is one of the most dangerous factors for a person’s health. Therefore, one must think positively, avoid negative thinking, and sleep for sufficient periods.

He continued: To break the barrier of anxiety, you must exercise and take a period of rest. The greater the level of anxiety and stress, the greater the risk of heart disease and strokes.
