RENFE increases Intercity train offer between Madrid and Gandia that go from circulating only on weekends to a daily train one way and another one back. A service that is extended for the summer months and that will start tomorrow Saturday, June 12.
In this way, travelers will have at their disposal 14 weekly trains instead of the current two so the offer that RENFE makes available to users amounts to the 3,500 places. The service will be running until September 4.
Safe anti-covid trains
Intercity, Ave, Alvia and Euromed services enjoy the AENOR certification of anti-covid protocols and the SGS “Disinfection Monitored” seal, which certifies the effectiveness of the results of the cleaning and disinfection. This seal guarantees optimal levels of disinfection on all train surfaces against a wide spectrum of bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19.
In addition, Renfe applies strict cleaning and disinfection controls during the work of train maintenance, in workshops and before the start of each of the circulations.
