The Covadonga Sanctuary also returns to normal | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

The Covadonga Sanctuary go back to open to the public from next Monday. In addition, citizens can visit the Santina in the Cave every day during 09:30 to 14 hours and in the afternoon between 16 and 19 hours. As the road is cut by the works for the next few days, access will be via the “promises” staircase (next to the “well”), and the exit, through the tunnel.

Public worship is also resumed, with a single daily mass of Monday to Sunday at 12:00 hours andn the Basilica. That same celebration will be broadcast live through the YouTube channel of the Sanctuary.

In the course of Eucharist special care will be taken to comply with safety regulations, mainly the interpersonal distance, disinfection and cleaning of the temple, among others.
