A room fire broke out on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at around 7:30 p.m. in an apartment building in Grissheim, Rheinstrasse.
As the integrated control center in Freiburg was informed, it was an apartment on the ground floor of the property. The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade within a short time.
The 58-year-old resident was not injured in the fire. The apartment is not habitable until further notice. The property damage amounts to around 100,000 euros.
The police in Müllheim have started investigating the cause of the fire.
