The Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine declared invalid the results of elections in constituency No. 87, Ivano-Frankivsk region, according to which the candidate from the party Servant of the people Vasily Virastyuk was elected a people’s deputy. “Sensation of a festive night. The Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine canceled the CEC protocol on establishing the election results in the OIO No. 87, according to which Vasily Virastyuk won,” wrote OPORA analyst Oleksandr Klyuzhev.

At the same time, he added that there is still no access to the court’s decision for its full analysis, and predicted the “intriguing political and legal consequences” of such a decision.

Recall, April 22 The CEC officially recognized the victory of the “servants of the people” Virastyuk at the by-election to the Verkhovna Rada. According to the OEC protocol, Virastyuk received 15,536 votes, while his opponent from the party For the future, Oleksandr Shevchenko, 423 votes were missing.
