The Korean Dog Association is causing a stir by saying that it will release 2 million breeding dogs to places such as Yongsan, where the President’s Office is located, if the special law banning the consumption of dogs is passed.

Joo Young-bong, chairman of the right to food and livelihood of the Korean Meat Dog Association, argued in a CBS radio interview, saying, “For the sake of reform, human rights have been trampled and the people’s right to food has been taken away.”
