The cartoon posted by Zangrillo on the deaths of Covid outrages the web

“Yesterday in Italy 4 people died from Covid, it’s terrible!” Says a figure with the appearance of death. The answer: “Yesterday in Italy 638 people also died from cardiovascular diseases and 483 from cancer! This is really terrible ”. This is the satirical cartoon signed by Ghisberto, shared on Facebook by Alberto Zangrillo, the head physician of the anesthesia and resuscitation unit of the San Raffaele hospital in Milan.

In a few hours the post, which according to many reveals Zangrillo’s “skeptical” line, was inundated with criticism and negative comments. “Really in bad taste and unprofessional, with no respect for those who died and those who suffered. I would have expected it from everyone but a doctor ”, comments one user. Another message echoes her: “Cancers and vascular diseases are not taken by contagion, there could have been four fewer deaths. We could all have expected a cartoon so from a doctor, no ”. There are also, however, those who appreciate his exposure: “Zangrillo, great courage against the politics of terror. Let’s support it! ”.
