At Montluçon hospital, no case of Covid-19 but the crisis unit mobilized

While France is experiencing a resurgence of the epidemic with an increased circulation of the virus, the public hospital of Montluçon announced this Thursday August 20 to mobilize “its
crisis unit in order to follow local and national developments ”.

Management adds that no case of Covid-19 has been identified at the hospital center and that no bed is occupied by a patient affected by the coronavirus.

The hospital center works on a daily basis to adapt, if the situation requires it, the medical, paramedical, logistical and health resources.

As a reminder, during confinement:

  • Twenty-one resuscitation beds (against twelve in normal times, Editor’s note) and twenty-six beds dedicated to the medical service for receiving Covid-19 patients have been assembled.
  • Eight patients from other regions were treated in intensive care: five from Bourgogne Franche-Comté and three from Île-de-France.
