During the performance, Chaus said that he was born and raised in Chernigov. He noted that for the last six years he worked in the company “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” in the positions of director of the direction, and now he is in the position of deputy general director.
Chaus called the first step in his new position to establish a dialogue with territorial communities. Besides, Chaus drew on the problems areas in the field of health care.
“The pace and dynamics of project execution in the Chernihiv region are extremely low. This needs to be changed immediately and radically,” he said.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Anna Kovalenko head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration in the middle of October last year. “She will be the only woman in Ukraine who heads the region,” the head of state said.
Kovalenko is wife of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak. He is 24 years older than Kovalenko.–
