Víctor Orta, sporting director of Leeds, commented, this Friday, on the possible departure of Raphinha to Barcelona on the radio Cadena COPE. According to the Spanish press, the deal will amount to €60 million, but the English manager has not confirmed the transfer.
«I think that at this moment, Fabrizio Romano [jornalista italiano especializado em transferências] knows more about the state of Raphinha’s transfer than I do”, he joked, leaving a compliment to the former Vitória de Guimarães and Sporting player: “There are things about Neymar that are good, but he defends more than he does.”
Formed in Avai, Raphinha signed for Leeds in 2020, after stints at Vitória de Guimarães, Sporting and Rennes. In the service of the English he added 67 games, in which he scored 17 goals and 12 assists.
