As reported, this Saturday, the Catalan sports daily SportBarcelona have established individual contracts, as far as contracts are concerned, with Chelsea’s Spanish internationals César Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
However, the culés have not yet reached an understanding with the London club regarding the amounts they will have to pay for the signing of the two defenders.
Informs that journal that the blues set €13M for each of the athletes, a value far from extraordinary for an emblem of the size of Barcelona, even though, apparently, beyond the reach of the blaugrana which, as is well known, are in a rather impoverished and complicated financial situation.
It is recalled that, recently, the president Joan Laporta promised €500m to invest in the 2022/23 squad.
