The Education, Research and Culture Commission of the Balearic Parliament has approved this Thursday a Proposition No of Law (NLP) with which it urges the Ministry of Education to adequately provide the centers of the Islands with all the digital material necessary to enable compliance of health measures against COVID-19.
The initiative, presented by the Group El PI-Proposta per les Illes Balears, also asks to guarantee an effective service of constant maintenance of the technological equipment of all educational centers.
On the other hand, a second NLP has been approved with which the Government is urged to update the School Absenteeism Protocol for the Islands of 2016, adapting and expanding it according to the circumstances arising from the needs arising from the ‘new normal’. It is an initiative presented by MÉS per Mallorca, Unidas Podemos and PSIB.
The deputy of Unidas Podemos Gloria Santiago has defended that “the best way to a strong and well-prepared society to face the challenges of life, as well as the best antidote for the prevention of crimes and other harmful behaviors, for cognitive development or the life of the people, it is a correct education “.
