Gold prices fell in the local market during today’s trading, and the price of a gram fell by about 9 pounds at one time, compared to its level yesterday.
Nadi Naguib, former general secretary of the gold division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told “Masrawy” that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold was recorded today at 822 pounds, compared to 831 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold reached 705 pounds, and the price of a gram of 24 carat gold was about 939 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6576 pounds.
Globally, gold prices witnessed a slight rise during today’s trading by 0.04%, after falling during yesterday’s session by about $ 30.8 an ounce by 1.6%.
The price of an ounce of gold during today’s trading was $ 1877.97 at 12:48 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg Agency data.
