KONTAN.CO.ID – PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) extended the “Super Merdeka” program or added power discount for MSMEs and IKM until 31 October 2020. Initially, this discount was only valid until 3 October 2020 only.
This extension is carried out in line with the high interest of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) or Small and Medium Industries (IKM) players in the power added program.
“We are grateful that this program has received a great response from customers. Initially, we only opened it until October 3, 2020, but seeing the existing interest we extended it until October 31, 2020, ”said PLN Executive Vice President Corporate Communication and CSR Agung Murdifi in an official broadcast, Tuesday (6/10).
The Super Merdeka program provides relief for business and industrial low voltage customers ranging from 450 VA to 13,200 VA with a choice of final power up to 16,500 VA.

“Through this program we want to provide super economical power-added cost relief to help increase the productivity of MSMEs and SMEs in the midst of a pandemic,” added Agung.
Considering that UMKM or IKM are the backbone of Indonesia’s current economic activities, the Super Merdeka service is a form of PLN’s sensitivity to UMKM / IKM customers who need electricity for their business activities.
