Nacho Vidal will have his own television series | Television on Cadena SER

The platforms continue to focus on our country to produce new fiction content. The next to do it will be Starzplay, Starz’s premium international streaming service. The company wants to be on the same level as Netflix, HBO and Amazon Prime Video and has already announced the two ‘Made in Spain’ projects that it has launched.

The first has attracted special attention, since it is about a series that will investigate the porn industry through the figure of Nacho Vidal. The actor, who at 46 is an eminence in adult cinema, will have his own biopic.

‘Nacho Vidal, an XXXL industry’ is the chosen title for this series that will investigate ‘the other film industry’ that moves more than 500 million euros a year in Spain. The starting point of this story? “Demonstrating that his talents reached far beyond his most famous 25 cm, Nacho changed the rules of the game in the 90’s by becoming an international superstar. “

A series of Bambú Producciones

Behind ‘Nacho Vidal, an XXXL industry’ is Bambú Producciones, one of the most important fiction producers in our country. ‘Velvet’, ‘Las chicas del cable’ or ‘Fariña’ are some of the most popular titles that they have in their portfolio and now they will develop a series about Nacho Vidal after trying himself in the erotic genre, without much luck, with ‘Instinto’ (Movistar +).

Teresa Fernandez-Valdés, Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira will be the creatives in charge of the project and the executive producers together with Olmo Figueredo.

‘Express’, the other Spanish series from Starzplay

In addition to ‘Nacho Vidal, an XXXL industry’, Starzplay has given the green light to another Spanish series. Is about ‘Express’, a suspense thriller produced by The Mediapro Studio that “tells a story of the only type of crime that has increased 100% in the last year: express kidnapping.”

The creator and scriptwriter Iván Escobar (‘Vis a vis’) signs this project produced by Laura Fdez. Espeso, Javier Méndez, Javier Pons and himself.
