A telephone fraudster tried to steal from an 88-year-old from Elze (Hildesheim district) with a new scam. He told her that he would come over with a vaccine against the corona virus to vaccinate her. According to the police, the woman agreed and even made an appointment. However, her 92-year-old husband reacted skeptically, as reported by NDR 1 Lower Saxony. A call to the health insurance company revealed that it was probably a fraud. The employee advised the 92-year-old to call the police. The officials ask citizens to inform their elderly relatives about such fraud attempts.
