The remote struggle between Telegram and Whatsapp continues, in search of new functions for users. The latest update introduces many new features in different areas.
The instant messaging programs, from Whatsapp to Telegram, increasingly on the crest of the wave, with numerous new users who have landed on the various platforms during the lockdown. The ease of use and the widespread diffusion make these apps more and more transversal, central both in work and in free time, to share documents or simply organize a dinner.
Telegram updates to version 6.3, and the news are not long in coming. A fan of new features and improvements which will undoubtedly make the app created by Russian entrepreneur Pavel Durov in the now distant 2013 increasingly appreciated.

Among the major novelties certainly stands out profile video, which replaces the classic photography. It will be possible to upload a short clip, from which then extract a frame of your choice which will appear in the conversations next to your name. Still in the photographic sector, a new filter dedicated to “skin softness”, designed to retouch photos before sharing.
It also updates the “Close people” function, activated from the contacts menu. Once authorized to show their location, contacts will be able to view the distance from who is writing. Obviously optional and default option not active. New view also for images shared in chat channels: one small preview notifications will allow you to get an idea of the content even before opening it.

Certainly welcome news will be increasing the maximum content size shared, that passes 1.5 to 2 GB. A new function designed for very large groups will also debut: it will be possible to activate a filter that automatically silences and archives messages from people not in their contacts. Also with regard to the groups (with 500 or more members) there is also a new set of statistics available to administrators, with more detailed information on the behavior of different users.
Finally, for the Android users, change the graphics of the music player – now smaller – and the possibility of rotate and cut the filmsthe. On desktop version of Telegram instead it will be possible manage up to 3 different accounts simultaneously, without the need for the computer to be connected to the computer as it happens for Whatsapp.
