“Teenage Director Louis Alexandre Makes Waves with Short Documentary Series on Chartres”

Surrounded by a dozen young people, Louis Alexandre, 17, a student at Silvia-Monfort high school, in Luisant, with a theater option, shot a documentary in downtown Chartres on Saturday.

This young director is not at his first attempt since he has already made a film on the theme of school bullying, entitled 180 days broadcast on Monday evening on the Scoop TV channel ( read our previous editions ).

“A series of short films of 15 to 20 minutes per episode”

“The idea is to make a series of short documentaries in a format of 15 to 20 minutes per episode,” explained Louis Alexandre on Saturday, on the sidelines of filming.

“Today, we go around the city center and we ask young people about their relationship with their city, their favorites, what they don’t like, etc. Sunday, we shoot with Kevin, the tiktokeur whose video on Chartres has been viewed more than 500,000 times. »

Part of the filming on Saturday took place in the Les Enfants du Paradis multiplex, just in front of the Mario Bros. movie posters.

The team anticipates the themes of future documentaries: Chartres on the historical level, perhaps with distinguished guests who know Chartres well; places frequented by young people in the city; the difficulties that can be encountered, etc.

The next shooting of Louis Alexandre with his team will take place in mid-May, on the theme of the history of the city.

Louis Alexandre does not yet have a distribution circuit for this series of documentaries.
