Freelance graphic designers usually work on cars that we are sure will be created. Unfortunately, the modern successor to the Fiat 126 is not planned, but we can still see it.

Our graphic colleague and collaborator Honza Lušovský said some time ago that he could draw a car again, in which he will unleash his own imagination. He often prepares graphic designs for cars for us, which are greatly inspired by spy photos of prototypes under a layer of camouflage. But prototypes Fiatu 126 you won’t meet on the road because he doesn’t count on him at all.

But it doesn’t matter. The model of the Italian carmaker is a cult matter and especially our neighbors in Poland still perceive it as an automobile icon. The Polish variation 126p became famous under the nickname Maluch (which literally means small child or something small). In the end, Fiat also liked the word, which in 1997 adopted it as the official name of the car. The Fiat 126p produced 4.6 million units, the last of which rolled off the production line on September 22, 2000.

Today, Fiat has a solid presence in the small city car category in the form of the 500 and Panda models. It is difficult to see another such one, even if we would very much like the return of the modern Fiat 126, whose vision you can see in the attached photo gallery.

Not so long ago, we wrote about the creation of Czyzewski Design. The creator also embarked on a “building” modern Maluch and showed it not only in several colors, but also let us look into the interior. You can also see the work in the gallery above.
