Tag Heuer has introduced a Super Mario-themed smartwatch, in collaboration with Nintendo. The watch runs Wear OS and will only be sold in 2000 copies, with a juicy price of 2150 dollars.
The watch’s physical design has a Super Mario theme. The classic video game character also appears in dials and in software. The standard dial becomes “livelier and more animated” the more the user moves during the day.
Mario welcomes the user every morning and new animations are displayed as the user reaches their exposed step goal. Otherwise, the watch is a variant of Tag Heuer Connected. The device is water resistant (5ATM) and offers GPS, heart rate monitor, and a 430mAh battery that will provide a full day of battery life.
