Authorities are searching for a suspect of attempting to rape a woman inside the lobby of a building in Queens, New York City Police announced.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Friday morning, at about 1:50 a.m., when the suspect approached the victim, a 45-year-old woman, when she was inside the lobby of a building located in the vicinity of Shore Parkway and 13th Street. The alleged abuser then tried to rape the woman and dragged her out of the lobby, but then fled when the victim resisted.
The woman ended up with bruises and scratches on parts of her body.
