Survivor Česko & Slovensko has already declassified its participants. To the disappointment of spectators, however, the production selected well-known influencers and apostates from other reality shows for the show! Well-known faces will compete for the win, including Shopaholic Nicol, Nathan from Love Island and the actress from Slunečná, Bára Jánová.
The audience was really looking forward to the reality show Survivor. “Survivor is one of the largest, most popular and most successful reality shows in the world. It is a format that fits exactly into TV Nova’s diverse programming offer and reaps success, especially among young TV and online viewers,” says Silvia Majeská, TV Nova’s program director .
From the huge number of registered, 8 Czechs and 4 Slovaks were selected, who are waiting for the fight for survival in the exotic Dominican Republic. To make the show more attractive to spectators, another 12 contestants come from the ranks of celebrities.
Competitors will have to deal not only with their rivals, inhospitable tropical jungle, lack of food and physically demanding tasks, but also with themselves. To survive, they will have to build a safe shelter, secure food and water, or learn to start and maintain a fire. At the end of the demanding duel, one of the islanders will have to win 2,500,000 crowns.
Apostates from other reality shows
A big surprise was the cast of a number of Czech and Slovak celebrities and renegades from other reality shows.
The invitation was accepted by moderator Vojtěch Drahokoupil, known to viewers from the online show Love Island Extra, actress, stand-up comedian Iva Pazderková, influencer Nikola Čechová (Shopaholik Nicol), moderator of Radio Evropa 2 Tomáš Zástěra, finalist of the MasterChef Czech cooking competition Ta Thuy Dung alias Chili, who recently tried her luck at Superstar. Slunečná star Barbora Jánová also nodded, as did model, actor and former football player Matěj Paprčiak or Agáta Hanychová’s former lover, Adam Raiter.
Slovakia will be represented by: Most watched video player Daniel GoGo Strauch, winner of the 12th reality show series Fénia Xénia Gregušová, MMA wrestler Gábor Boráros, football player and participant in the Love Island reality show Nathan Christián Dzaba and fourteen-time karate champion Veronika Havlik. It was the presence of celebrities but really disappointed fans.
Where are normal people?
“I mean, quite a disappointment. I thought there would be ordinary people and not just celebrities or acquaintances. It’s just going to be a comedy. I’m not going to watch these people. It’s a shame, I was looking forward to it,” agree the people in the comments.
“What do you do casting for normal people if you put your sheep in there anyway?” angry viewers ask, noting that a handful of normal people will have it lost in advance to celebrities.
We will see how the competition will take place and who will wish them luck in the jungle on January 10, 2022 on Voyo and a day later at 20:20 on TV Nova.
