Photos and videos of Zwarte Piet are now prohibited on Facebook and Instagram, Facebook, the company behind the two social networks, announced on Tuesday. 779 new corona infections, now 32,000 Dutch people are contagious
Figures from the corona dashboard show that 32,000 Dutch people are now contagious with the corona virus. That is almost double the previous number: In the last week the number has fluctuated around 16,000 contagious inhabitants. In addition, 779 new infections were reported on Tuesday.

Weather on vacation
Benelux: Wednesday it will be partly cloudy in the Benelux. In many places the temperature rises to well above 30 degrees. There can be heavy rain and thunderstorms locally, sometimes with a lot of rain in a short time, hail and gusts of wind.
Germany: On Wednesday it will be 26 to 32 degrees in most places in Germany. Cumulative clouds form scattered and especially in West Germany locally strong rain and thunderstorms are possible.
Austria and Switzerland: In several places the weather is changeable on Wednesdays in the Alpine region. The temperature is between 23 degrees in the valleys and about 12 degrees on the peaks. Only in the north of Switzerland and Austria are the maximums a lot higher. Scattered rain and thunderstorms can occur, especially in the high mountains.
France: Cooler air will flow into France from the west on Wednesday. Various rain and thunderstorms occur at the interface between the cool and hot air. Most showers fall in the west of France on Wednesday. During the showers there is a chance of a lot of rain in a short time and very locally also heavy gusts of wind and hail.
Spain and Portugal: On Wednesday there will be some showers in Spain and Portugal, especially in the north, sometimes with hail and thunderstorms. From the south it gets dry in more and more places during the day, with more room for the sun. The maximums range from 20 degrees in Northern Spain to 34 degrees locally in the Portuguese and Spanish inland.
Italy: Especially in the north of Italy, scattered rain and thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday. Elsewhere in Italy it is dry in most places with plenty of room for the sun. Temperatures range from 25 degrees in the Northern Italian Alps to locally 35 degrees in the center and south of Italy.
Greece: On Wednesday, spicy rain and thunderstorms will fall, especially on the Greek mainland. A lot of rain falls locally in a short period of time, which can cause flooding. It remains virtually dry on the Greek islands, but a strong north wind is blowing there.
