High school student videos on Minahasa, North Sulawesi (North Sulawesi), snapped the local police chief who went viral on social media. The case ended in the police station.
The high school student’s action which went viral took place on Monday (1/11/2021) yesterday at the Tondano Terminal, Minahasa. In the video, 2 high school students are seen arguing fiercely with a man in police uniform. It was later discovered that the man was the local police chief.
In the video, initially the Kapolsek argued with one student. Shortly after, one student approached, the argument continued.
Residents in the video called for the police to arrest the high school student. Reason, citizens judge the student arrogant.
The police responded to the viral video. Acting Police Chief Minahasa AKBP Tommy Bambang Souissa said his party was conducting further investigations.
“We are currently investigating the case,” said Tommy when asked for confirmation, Tuesday (2/11/2021).
Tommy said the incident occurred because the students were being coached, but they did not accept it.
“Before the video, there was already a commotion by the students. The Toulimambot Police Chief intends to reprimand,” he concluded.
Student Invitation Policy
Head of Police Public Relations Minahasa Iptu Robin Langi said that after the incident, the students were immediately picked up by the police. They were taken to the police station for training.
“It happened at the Tondano terminal yesterday. The Toulimambot Police Chief. So they have been picked up and coached. The Sector Chief’s arrival is only to provide guidance. They are still school children. But they are not satisfied. So the arrogance of the children seems to be heroes,” he said. .
