NEW YORK — A Staten Island family experienced moments of terror when suspected thieves entered their home in the early hours of Monday morning to rob them at gunpoint, New York City Police said. During the robbery, the suspects beat a 5-year-old girl and a woman.
Everything happened around 12:43 am when the four alleged thieves entered the house, kicking the door, located in Livingston Avenue y Queen Streetsaid the uniformed woman. Once inside, three of them pulled out firearms in the presence of the victims, a 33-year-old woman, a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 54-year-old man.
The suspects demanded money and jewelry and used firearms to hit the face of the girl and woman who were taken to a hospital for treatment after being left with cuts and bleeding.
