State bonds were sold in the auction in the amount of 50 million euros

In the auction, the participants’ demand for bonds exceeded the amount offered by the State Treasury by 57.6%.

The average weighted rate at the auction for bonds maturing on January 17, 2028 was 3.333% (in the previous auction in the second half of February – 3.21%), and the five auction participants requested a total of 78.8 million euros, while the State Treasury offered to buy in the amount of 50 million euros.

The bond issue date is April 11, 2024.

The State Treasury offered to purchase an additional issue of international Eurobonds issued in January 2023 as part of the Global Medium-Term Securities Program (GMTN). The fixed interest (coupon) rate of bonds is 3.5%.

The newly issued bonds will be combined and form one series with the relevant securities issued so far in the amount of 1.13 billion euros.

On January 10, 2023, the State Treasury issued the relevant international Eurobonds with a maturity date of January 17, 2028 in the total amount of 750 million euros. The mentioned bond issue was carried out on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, at the beginning of March 2023, the State Treasury issued the relevant bonds in the domestic market in the amount of 65 million euros, in the second half of March – in the amount of 60 million euros, in the beginning of April – in the amount of 70 million euros, in the second half of April – in the amount of 65 million euros, in the beginning of May – in the amount of 30 million euros in the amount of EUR 30 million at the end of August, EUR 25 million at the end of September, and EUR 35 million at the end of February this year.
