Staf Coppens moves with his family to Sweden to ‘Camp …

Although the recordings for the second series of ‘Code Coppens’ are still in full swing, Staf Coppens had big news on Monday morning. “High time to tell something”, he said in a video message on Instagram. Because the presenter moves to Sweden with his wife Monique, son Beau and daughter Nora to open a campsite there. “We are avid campers and have traveled through Europe with a caravan or motorhome in recent years,” said a press release. “We ended up in the most beautiful places on earth and that in a ‘back to basic’ way. Camping as a family not only brings you closer together, but also closer to everything that is really important in our lives. ”

“Of course this is all very exciting, but we are looking forward to it”, says his wife Monique van der Velden. “The children can’t wait to skate on the frozen lakes and make the Swedish forests unsafe.” The purchase of the campsite is currently in the final phase, which means that the relocation plans are becoming more and more concrete. The intention is to move this year, according to the presenter on Instagram.

In a press release, VTM announced that Coppens will continue to make programs for VTM. “He would love to make many more programs with his brother Mathias”, it sounds. “And he would also like to share their dream in Sweden with the viewer. That is why the relocation of the family will be followed by his brother Mathias Coppens and production house Roses Are Blue and will be featured in a new VTM program. The program with the working title ‘Camping Cöppens’ will be broadcast on VTM in the course of 2021. ”

Coppens does emphasize that this is not just another television project. “It is first and foremost a personal dream that we have long cherished as a family and which we are now finally going to realize.
