In order to spread a little good mood even in this difficult time, the agency SpainTOP has created a playlist called “Stayin ‘Alive” on Spotify.
“The COVID 19 crisis hits us all very hard in the tourism industry. But we at SpainTOP try to stay optimistic and keep our positive energy by thinking of the many wonderful projects for the time after Corona. In order to pass this on to our partners and friends, we have created this playlist. We want to pass on a bit of good humor in this difficult time, “ said Antonio Gómez Coronado, founder and CEO of SpainTOP.
The playlist comprises 20 very different songs, mostly from Spanish bands that are or were particularly popular and well known in Spain. Among them the rock band Tequila with Salta !!! (Spanish: Spring!) or Estopa, which was founded by coincidence by the two Spanish brothers Muñoz Calvo and makes quick “rumba rock” with Spanish flair. Also present are happy pop from La Casa Azul (with “Podía Ser Peor” – “It could be worse”), danceable electronic beats by Fuel Fandango and the song “Noche de Boda” by the now 70-year-old songwriter Joaquín Sabina. In addition to other Spanish bands, international musicians such as Michael Bublé, Cher and Black Eyed Peas can also be found on the playlist.
