Even if it no longer really has the rating on the telephony market, Sony is not discouraged and would present, according to the rumor, an Xperia 5 Plus in the days to come.
Variation – you guessed it – XXL from Xperia 5 presented last September, this smartphone would sign the return of the jack port on the high-end Sony.
A design faithful to the original
Not that this surprises us, but the Xperia 5 Plus follows the same lines as the Xperia 5 (and that all the previous Xperia before him). So we’re dealing with a slender smartphone, with a 6.6-inch OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 21: 9 – the trademark of Sony smartphones for just over a year.
We note that the thin upper and lower borders of the screen reveal two speaker grilles, and that the upper edge houses a jack port, which was absent from the original model.

On the side, we will find the traditional button dedicated to the camera, the volume slider as well as the power button, also serving as a fingerprint sensor.
Sony muscle his game in photo
If it is particularly represented on the photophony market (Sony supplies most of the photo sensors in the industry, to the point struggling to keep up), the Japanese manufacturer has never been brilliant in this matter on its own products. Will the game change with the Xperia 5 Plus? Nothing is less sure.

In view of the 3D renderings published by OnLeaks, we realize that Sony has once again bet on a trio of sensors (probably the same as on the Xperia 5, namely 12 + 12 + 12 megapixels), it has added a module 3D ToF to refine the precision of his portraits. A choice that had particularly succeeded in Huawei P30 Pro, to name a few.
Finally on the performance side, all is speculation for the moment. The Xperia 5 being accompanied in its time by a Snapdragon 855, we hope to find the recent Snapdragon 865 in this new version. Answer in a few days ?
