➤ 🇩🇿 Alexandre Oukidja (Algeria). The Messin goalkeeper has been called up for the Fennecs friendlies against Guinea on Friday 23 September (9pm) and Nigeria on Tuesday 27 September (9pm). The matches will be played in Oran.
➤ 🇮🇪 Georges Mikautadze (Georgia). With his selection, the FC Metz striker will play two Nations League matches: Friday 23 September (18:00) against Macedonia in Tbilisi and Monday 26 September (20:45) in Gilbraltar.

The Barcelona company in comics
On 3 October 1984, FC Metz achieved what remains, to this day, one of the greatest exploits of French football in the European Cup. The Garnets overthrew FC Barcelona at Camp Nou (1-4), despite a first leg defeat in Moselle (2-4). Led by Tony Kurbos, author of a hat-trick on the Catalan lawn, the Messins defied all odds by eliminating the Blaugrana in the second round of the Cup Winners’ Cup.
On the occasion of its 90th birthday, FC Metz offers a comic dedicated to this magnificent page in its history. The company, work of the people of the Moselle Hector (drawing) et Marc-Antoine De Roubaix (screenplay), the comic retraces the incredible evening in Barcelona and reveals the behind the scenes of this unlikely qualification.
