A small plane made an emergency landing in a suburb of Paris on Monday, reports include BBC News. It came to a stop at an apartment building in Villejuif. Three passengers were injured.
Photos show that the aircraft was seriously damaged by the emergency landing. The plane landed after an engine failure, French Transport Minister Clément Beaune said.
According to local media, a flight instructor in their eighties and two in their twenties were on board the plane. They had to be rushed to hospital, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The plane eventually came to a stop in the garden at the back of an apartment building. Parts of the plane landed on the roof of a nearby garage. The fuselage of the plane was partially crushed.
The plane took off from Rouen, about 128 kilometers from where it landed. It would land in Toussus-le-Noble, near Versailles. An investigation has been launched.
