Six motorists arrested for traffic offenses in Chartres, Mainvilliers and Lucé

In the night between Friday and Saturday, around 4 in the morning, a motorist was driving with his headlights off in Chartres. Checked by the police, the 41-year-old motorist from Saint-Sauveur-Marville had 1.82 g of alcohol per liter of blood. He was put in a tank drunk, then in police custody. His license has been revoked. He will be summoned to court soon.

At around 2.30pm on Saturday, a 24-year-old motorist who tested positive for alcohol in Mainvilliers handed over a bag of herbal cannabis to the police. During the search of his house in Luisant, the latter discovered some cannabis resin and a bicycle whose number engraved on the frame had been filed. He is being investigated for drunk driving, drug possession and concealment of theft.
