Diplomats from six countries consider the situation in Ukraine unpredictable due to the Russian threat.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that its citizens refrain from traveling to Ukraine, and is also evacuating the families of Israeli diplomats. This was reported by the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine on its page in Twitter on Friday, February 11th.

It is indicated that Israeli citizens are advised to reconsider the need to stay in Ukraine and “avoid approaching areas of increased danger.”

“The Foreign Ministry recommends that Israeli citizens refrain from traveling to Ukraine. … Following the publication of a travel warning to Ukraine, the Israeli Foreign Ministry decided to evacuate the families of Israeli diplomats,” the statement says.

At the same time, it is indicated that the Israeli embassy will continue to work.

Also Montenegro, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea and Norway advised their citizens to leave the territory of Ukraine because of the Russian threat. The diplomats of these countries consider the situation in Ukraine unpredictable.

The day before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov advised non-essential personnel of the Russian diplomatic mission in Ukraine to leave the country for a while. According to him, this decision was made after the Russians looked at the actions of the Anglo-Saxon colleagues.
