During the arrest of a 30-year-old man in Tilburg, the police fired a warning shot on Saturday evening. An arrest team then raided a house on Hoflaan.
The police received a ‘vague report’, according to the information officer, a little after seven, possibly that someone had fired. Once in Hoflaan, a man immediately approached the police. Officers asked him to stop, but he didn’t listen. That’s why an officer fired a warning shot. The 30-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested.

Members of an arrest team then raided the house. There were more people in the house. They all had to go outside, but were not arrested.
The police conducted an investigation in Hoflaan. In front of the house where the arrest team invaded was a van, whose windshield was shattered. It is not yet clear whether the suspect was actually shot.
